Safia Southey

Safia is a passionate human rights activist, learner, and world explorer. Raised by international travelers and development practitioners, she has been lucky to grow up in Cairo, Paris, Amman, Menton, and NYC, in part during her time in the Dual BA with Sciences Po and Columbia University. At 23 years old, Safia has worked for institutions such as UNRWA, UNHCR, the U.S. State Department, the World Bank Group, and various NGOs. Graduating with top honors from Columbia, Safia is now enjoying her time post-undergrad before attending Columbia Law School, which she will begin in 2023 as a LEAD fellow.
