Ana V Mandri

Ana has worked for the non-profit sector for over 20 years. She has successfully led efforts to support indigenous and rural communities with social marketing strategies and create financial mechanisms to strengthen conservation and sustainable development in Mexico's most biodiverse and threatened region.

She is co-founder and CEO of Zamia Media, a social enterprise specialized in providing courses, tools and services to non-profit organizations. Zamia Media supports and creates unique communication, marketing and fundraising initiatives while strengthening the capacities of its partners, thus helping them increase their impact and generate positive and sustainable changes in the world.

She is also vice-chair of the Education and Communication Commission in the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and board member to several organizations that support food security, access to education, gender equality and access to safe drinking water. She is a former fellow of the USA State Department WeAmerica Social Entrepreneurship Program and co-founder of MAM (an online platform supporting women's initiatives in Latin America).

Ana has a master's degree in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford and a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
